The pre-season training has been taken today at the Portimao circuit after the presentations this morning at the Portuguese circuit of the new Williams FW31 and the Renault R29.

As happened in the test last December, Toro Rosso Ferrari has continued setting the pace by using his car last season. In fact, the times achieved by Sebastien Buemi mean very little, as the Faenza team continues to roll with the levels of aerodynamic 2008, while the rest of his rivals on the track today and have done so with the machinery of this next season.

Buemi has been the fastest in the session with a record of 1:41.528 s in the rain. Toro Rosso and Red Bull continue sharing information and saving the test kilometers of testing in a season in which the private training has been drastically reduced.
